Collaboration Across Boundaries for Adaptation in the Era of Complexity
More than 120 participants from around the world joined us in Canela, Brazil, for the first-ever joint symposium between the Resilience Engineering Association (REA) and the Resilient Health Care Society (RHCS). This year’s theme—Collaboration Across Boundaries for Adaptation in the Era of Complexity—highlighted the importance of shared learning across sectors, disciplines, and cultures.
Participants came from across the globe—Australia, Belgium, Botswana, Brazil, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States—and represented a wide range of domains including aviation, healthcare, crisis response, oil and gas, and academia.
